China PPP market transparency (annual) report

At present, the standardized management of PPP market is the focus of PPP management departments at all levels, and timely, accurate and sufficient information disclosure of PPP projects is the basis of standardized management of PPP projects. Since 2017, a number of documents issued by the Ministry of finance have involved the information disclosure of PPP projects. In this context, entrusted by the Asian Development Bank, the PPP research center of Shanghai University of Finance and economics formed a research group to scientifically evaluate the information disclosure of China's PPP projects. On July 10, 2018, the 2017 China PPP market transparency report was officially released, which attracted wide attention from all walks of life. On October 29, 2019, Fang Fang, Secretary of the Party committee of the school of public economics and management, Shanghai University of Finance and economics, released the report on transparency of China's PPP market in 2018 in both Chinese and English. The report made a detailed evaluation on the information disclosure work of 8636 projects in the PPP comprehensive information platform management database of the Ministry of Finance in 2018, and compiled the 2018 China PPP market transparency index, which contains 76 index fields, which are divided into immediate disclosure transparency index, timely disclosure transparency index, and transparency sub index of identification, preparation, procurement and implementation stages.

China's PPP market transparency (annual) report, as a heavyweight report of PPP research center of Shanghai University of Finance and economics, will be released annually in the future to further improve the information transparency and standardized management of China's PPP market.
